What do our Glass Pulverizers do?
Each Andela Glass Pulverizer is uniquely designed to fit your needs. Our glass pulverizers operate using the patented Andela flexible impactors which will selectively reduce the glass into 3/8″ aggregate and sand but leaves metal, plastics, and most paper in a larger form. Capacities are available from a small, hand fed model, up to 20 tons per hour. The Andela Pulverizers may also be purchased to add on to your existing system or to create an entire Andela Glass Recycling System.
Output Sized Glass
Our glass recycling machines produce a distinctly different product: a rounded glass particle, 3/8″ in size or finer. If material other than glass (plastic, metal caps, or covers) goes through the pulverizer, these materials will keep their larger form and thus be easily separated from the glass-sand with the trommel separator. One or two screen sizes can be used with the trommel to produce one aggregate mix (3/8″ minus) or two different sized aggregates (1/8″ minus and 1/8″-3/8″).
While each machine offers many unique features the Andela Glass Recycling pulverizers all come standard with our flexible impact hammers. All of our machines can be designed to meet and exceed customer specific needs.
