Surge Hoppers
Our Andela Metering Surge Hoppers are stand alone units with active mechanical plate feeders,. They accept bulk quantities of glass and discharge the glass, at a metered flow rate, into the glass pulverize. Flared extensions are an available option for added capacity. The hopper is welded steel construction and completely lined with abrasion resistant steel plate to withstand the wear associated with the loading of broken glass.
